When Not to Use Managed Azure ML
While Managed Azure ML is suitable for most traditional AI/ML projects, there are specific scenarios where it is not recommended:
Specialized security or subscription requirementsโ
- Do not use Managed Azure ML if your project requires a non-standard subscription, such as OMNIA Classic.
- These environments often involve in-house security account management or data sources with specific legal or compliance requirements that are incompatible with Aurora-based setups.
Existing applications or projectsโ
- If you already have a fully developed application or a project that is in production, transitioning to Managed Azure ML may not be necessary or beneficial.
- In such cases, consider continuing within your existing environment unless there is a clear reason to migrate.
Advanced or specialized AI use casesโ
- Managed Azure ML is not designed for Computer Vision, Generative AI, or other advanced/specialized AI applications.
- For these scenarios, choose the appropriate track under the Advanced AI journey in our platform.
